Take a Moment…

This year, three women have won the Nobel Peace Prize:

The 2011 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded Friday to Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Liberian peace activist Leymah Gbowee and democratic activist Tawakkul Karman of Yemen for their work on women’s rights, which the prize committee described as fundamental to the spread of peace around the world.

News and Events: WCR National Conference Coming Up

Hopefully anyone in the DC area was able to hit up the World Fare: Street Food Festival this past weekend – I heard it was a blast!

That said, The WCR’s 2011 National Conference is coming up in a month (in Boston, starts Nov. 5th). This year’s theme is An Educated Palate, and there’s a lot of great new industry stuff being showcased.

Have you been watching the Wall Street Protests? If you live in the NYC area, head down and check out the work that’s getting done to keep kitchen space organized, up and running.
